Anthony E. Meyer, 47, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of privately-held Meyer and Co. LLC, a diversified merchant banking firm based in New York City with interests in "entrepreneuring" and venture capital, real estate and "family office" management. He also serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ocean Road Advisors, Inc., a family office management and investment company for several leading New York City-based families, which manages a portfolio in excess of $800 million invested on behalf of numerous client entities in a broad range of investment strategies, including public and private equities, hedge funds, real estate, and venture capital.

Mr. Meyer has extensive experience and relationships in the real estate, finance, venture capital, healthcare and media sectors. He was a co-founder of the real estate, private equity and venture capital investment affiliates of two leading global investment and finance organizations, Lazard Frères & Co. (in 1994) and Trammell Crow Company (in 1984), in both cases building these investment management companies into multi-billion dollar (asset) organizations before selling them back to their institutional parent companies.

Mr. Meyer has also served as the founding chief executive officer for three entrepreneurial companies as well as the non-executive chairman of several public and private operating businesses. In 2002, he was the founding investor and chief executive officer of the predecessor company to Extend Health, Inc., the leading provider of defined contribution healthcare plans for corporate America, where he is today the lead Director of the Company and the largest individual shareholder alongside investors Revolution Health Group, founded by AOL co-founder Steve Case, and healthcare venture capital firm Psilos Group Managers. In 2006, Mr. Meyer was the founder, chief executive officer and lead investor in The American Academy, an accredited online high school created in an innovative public-private partnership with the State of Utah and its Electronic High School.

Mr. Meyer has lectured in real estate, finance and entrepreneurship at Stanford University, New York University and Southern Methodist University. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Literacy Instruction for Texas (L.I.F.T.) and has served as a Board member of the Young Leadership Cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal. Mr. Meyer currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Honors College of the City University of New York, the Board of Governors of the American Jewish Committee and the Board of Directors of the New York City chapter of YPO International. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of World of Children, an international advocacy organization whose mission is to recognize and inspire action on behalf of children worldwide.

Mr. Meyer graduated from Harvard College in 1982 as a John Harvard Scholar and received his MBA from Harvard Business School with honors in 1984. He is married and lives in New York City with his wife, Miraldina, an attorney.
