In 2002, Anthony Meyer founded Extend Health, Inc.
(formerly Wellness Services) together with fellow entrepreneur and former White House economic advisor Paul Zane Pilzer. Shortly after, Steve Case of AOL added a majority interest in Extend Health to his Revolution Health Group portfolio.
Extend Health provides defined contribution benefit programs to the employees and retirees of American companies and is the first company to provide a choice-based retiree benefit platform to Fortune 10 corporations. In 2007, the company became the largest provider of defined contribution healthcare plans for corporate America, serving over 200,000 corporate employees with clients that include such corporate giants as GM, Ford, Chrysler, WalMart and Sam's Club.

In 2006, Meyer co-founded The American Academy, a fully accredited online private high school serving school age and adult students who want to supplement their high school education or earn a high school diploma.
Through its unique platform, The American Academy allows students to choose from 233 accredited courses offered 24 hours a day; provides traditional schools and post-secondary institutions a method for offering a branded accredited high school curriculum online; and enables employers to structure unique solutions to attract and retain employees.
